Welcome to Dear Son.
This Blog is not an original idea of mine, but provides a place that Fathers and Sons can express themselves to each other.
I know from my own personal experiences, there are so many times I have wanted to tell my sons things, and not know how or when to say them.
I welcome fathers to speak to their sons, and sons to speak to their fathers in the open. Hopefully, you will take the opportunity to love each other, and believe that healing can be possible.
So let me get it going.
Dear Son,
I have spend most of my life as your father. I have learned by my mistakes, and learned from mentors, and my elders.
My goal has always been to be a help to you and show it in a loving way.
I have failed at times to do so, for that I am sorry.
I have tried to live my life as a Godly example of a man, father, and now in friendship.
We have both matured and grown to understand each other better.
I pray and hope we will continue to do so.
